Description

Our home education sessions work on the concept that not all learning needs to be subject or age based. Each workshop is run around a concept and supported by tutors with experience of working with our home educating community. Unlike our supported study sessions, desks within the centre are moved to create a group atmosphere (and in some cases, removed entirely!)

Our groups are restricted to a maximum of 5 students at present to ensure that we are able to put in sufficient distancing measures.

Each session takes place on a Tuesday from 1.30pm and runs for 90 minutes with students provided with a drink during the session.

COVID Prevention Measures

*due to COVID restrictions, we are currently unable to provide students with laptops although they are welcome to bring their own devices.

We request that all students over age 11 and parents wear a mask within the tuition centre unless medically exempt.

Please use the provided hand sanitizer upon entry and exit.

Each student will be provided with a dedicated study pack including pens, pencils, & paper which will be cleaned and stored within a plastic folder to prevent cross-contamination.

Students will be provided with refreshments included within the price of a study desk – all refreshments are pre-wrapped to meet hygiene standards.

We have reduced the capacity and placement of study desks to enable social distancing. Desks & chairs are fully disinfected after each use.

Registers are taken of entry and exit from the centre and parents may be requested to participate in the NHS test & trace system should a suspected case be identified.
